- vy-shy-VAN-ka (stress on VAN)
- In a sentence
- „Він прийшов у вишиванці” — he came in a vyshyvanka, meaning he dressed for the occasion.
- Good to know
- The pattern and colours say which region the shirt comes from — one thing in Polesia, another in the Hutsul highlands. It is worn to weddings, holidays and the first day of school, and since 2014 also when something needs saying without words. It even has its own day, the third Thursday of May.

At 23 Wita Stwosza Street in Oliwa we run workshops, free consultations and a language club. For events, just come. For a talk about your own matter, or for tea, arrange it beforehand so that someone has time for you.

Who runs this

Mozaika is run by Fundacja RC, the Regional Centre for Information and Support of Non-Governmental Organisations. We run workshops, free consultations and a place where you can simply be. Let us know before your first visit and someone will welcome you and show you around.
